“Valientes hombres de mi Patria” was a body of work conceived in 1997 upon my return to Ecuador after 10 years in California. It explores language around the conceptions of gender with large doses of irony and humor. These are all variable dimensions installations made with the most diverse recycled materials. They recreated my interest in the interactive game (El Juego del Hombre) as a form of rapport artist-spectator that would later turn to be a continuous strategy within my practice .
